Separation, coercive control, and family violence leave a specific kind of damage — the kind that's hard to explain to people who haven't lived it. Confusion, self-doubt, emotional volatility, a loss of who you were before all of this.
I've been through it. I built Stand Again because I needed it to exist. And I coach because the right conversation at the right moment can change everything.
What coaching is
Private, one-on-one virtual sessions with a certified trauma-informed coach (ICAHP-recognised). A confidential space to make sense of what happened, stabilise what's happening now, and start building what comes next.
This is not clinical therapy. I don't diagnose or treat mental health conditions. What I offer is grounded, practical guidance from someone who understands the specific dynamics of male family violence — because I've lived them.
About your coach
Tim is the founder of Stand Again and a certified trauma-informed coach recognised by the International Centre for Arts and Health Practitioners (ICAHP). He is the author of three books on male family violence and recovery:
- Coercive Control: Every Tactic Explained,
- Reaching Him, and
- Reconnecting with Your Feelings After Abuse
And has spent years turning lived experience into practical, accessible guidance for men.
He has personal experience of coercive control, family violence, and post-separation abuse. He is someone who has walked this road, studied it deeply, and knows how to help you find your footing.

All sessions are virtual. Available to men in Australia and internationally. Packages are prepaid and can be booked at your own pace — no expiry, no lock-in schedule.

Preparing for separation with clarity & steadiness

Supports men in the period immediately before and after physical separation.
The focus is on stabilising your decision-making, reducing impulsive reactions, and establishing a grounded plan for the transition ahead.
These sessions help you stay steady when everything around you is shifting.
Making Sense of It
Understanding what happened to you

For men who have left an abusive relationship and are still trying to understand what they went through.
These sessions help you identify the patterns of control you experienced, understand why they were so effective, and begin building a clear picture of what was done to you and why it wasn't your fault.

These sessions help you define what thriving looks like for you, identify what's still holding you back, and start building a life that reflects who you actually are — rather than who you were shaped into being.

These packages are for people who love a man they believe is in or has been through an abusive relationship.
Understanding what he's going through, why he behaves the way he does, and how to reach him without pushing him further away requires specific knowledge. These sessions provide that.
Each package is one-on-one with Tim, delivered virtually.
